Curriculum, Teaching & Teacher Education (CTTE)
The purpose of the doctoral program in Curriculum, Teaching, & Teacher Education is to help students develop specialized knowledge in each of the three key areas and to prepare for careers in research, district level curriculum development, and teacher education.
In coordination with their doctoral committee, doctoral candidates create a flexible doctoral program to match their needs and interests. Candidates are required to develop an area of emphasis in the School of Teaching & Learning (i.e.: diversity, a content area, literacy, middle school education) as a part of their program. Students are encouraged to take courses in other departments in the University as part of their minor or cognate.
