The Higher Education Program at the University of Florida is nationally recognized for graduate education leading to the Ph.D. or Ed.D. The curriculum links research and practice to prepare professionals for careers and advancement in higher education, and specifically in community colleges.

The Institute of Higher Education works closely with its affiliate colleges in offering continuing professional development opportunities for practitioners and conducting needed research.

Instruction, mentoring and networking are provided by resident faculty. The program builds upon a rich tradition of excellence benchmarked to meet the needs of colleges and their leaders.
